Plan of Action
Department Innovations:
Combining state and federal law enforcement experience with successful track record working government to improve and innovate the department. He understands the powers the federal government has and the powers they do not have.
Faster Response Time:
The establishment of a Resident Deputy Program, which will foster community trust & improve response time while saving resources.
Additionally the creation of a
'Certified Armed Posse' to address critical backup
needs and help with transport and process serving needs.
Community Relations:
The setup of advisory committees in towns across Gila County to better understand the dynamics and specific issues of those areas. Respect to tribal sovereignty and collaboration with Tribal PD. Giving the people a voice within the Sheriff's Department.
Task Force Partnerships:
Utilizing decades of relationships with other Arizona Sheriffs and LEO Agencies to intercept dangerous drugs like fentanyl. Investigating every missing person report and prioritize arrests of human traffickers.
Critical Jail Improvements:
Revamp the working environment and safety of Gila County Jail. Supporting Detention Officer morale and development of a strong recruitment program immediately. We will address inmate mental healthcare and rehabilitation programs.
Citizen Audits:
Reporting to 'We the People' not bureaucrats. Abiding by the Constitution to protect and serve citizens.
A strong protector of the 2nd amendment and civil rights.
We will preform an in depth audit once taking office and annual reports available to all citizens.
